Your pattern is beautiful. Would look great in any fabric line! I like Spring and Summer, but my favorite would have to be summer. Maybe because our Ohio winters are so long and cold.

For me, I think Spring is my favorite - I like the cooler days, the bursts of color, and some of the activities we do in the Spring.

I have to pick Spring, when everything is just starting to come to life again. Plus, I'm not a big "hot weather" fan, and summer in Eastern Washington is just HOT!. I love your tulips, and those flowers just make me think SPRING!!! Thanks for the opportunity

Quilting up Pumpkin Pies!

Here's a look at my new Cinderella Pumpkins Pattern 

I finished quilting this larger wall hanging last night and as i prepared my binding...my iron gave out!  Ahhh!!!...do you know how hard it is to sew on a binding that is not pressed well?  

Don't do it!  Lol

For the wall hanging above, I used a double layer of Hobbs 80/20 which makes the quilting really pop!  So Fine from Superior Threads for my free hand feather doodles, micro stippling and ruler work. Stitch length was set at 20 stitches per inch.  Stitched in the ditch around each pumpkin and used my favorite curved templates by Linda Hrcka to create the pinched squares.   

This is my Halloween version quilted with free hand Pumpkin Seeds and Feathers.  

 A double layer of black Hobbs 80/20 for my Halloween runner and So Fine Threads.

Here's my new Valentine quilt! Measures 30" x 38"...perfect on a wall, table, bed or over a couch.

Super fun to make...pattern is divided into 6 easy sections with clear instructions and colorful illustrations.  I've also added a 'how to' page with simple illustrations for making half square triangles and corner square triangles.  EZPZ!!

 Great red fabric stash buster or a charm pack would be perfect too!

 Below is a photo taken before the heart was quilted.  I cross hatched inside the heart making the solid squares appear as hourglass blocks.

I used Hobbs Tuscany Cotton/Wool blend for the batting.  I love it!

This collage of Farmer's Wife blocks are made by Marion Knights who has been faithfully tending her farm crop.

Marion says she started with the polka dot fabric and went from there.  I LOVE this color combo!  I've not seen a Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt quite like this before.

Intentional

 I've watched others on blogland pick out a 'Word' to live by for an entire year.  I've never given this much consideration until recently.  Hum, what would 'my word' be?  There are so many good choices...maybe i won't be able to settle on one.  

Then it struck me!  Intentional!  I realized i needed to be more intentional on my decision to choose a word, more intentional to live by whatever word i chose.  The definition goes far beyond just picking out my word for 2015.
