The complete set of Farmer's Wife Quilt Revival Classes are now available.

Some fun Farming Adventures are coming in January 2017!

Based on Laurie Aaron Hird's first book, 'The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt' and my 12 classes on how to piece each of the 111 blocks from her book, using modern methods....I am adding videos!

I'll be sharing methods used in the classes via video, hard to piece block construction, helpful tips for precision piecing and more.

This is a bit beyond my comfort zone...to use video!  But...I'm going to do it!!  So don't laugh.  :)  Or do, along with me!

The Farming Video Adventures will begin in mid January 2017.
I'll be announcing the date on my blog as well as Instagram , my quilting Facebook page and my Farmer's Wife Quilt Revival Facebook group.  Come join me!

The complete set of all 12 Farmer's Wife Quilt Revival classes are now available on Etsy.  It's discounted too when you purchase the complete set! Click Here to find it!

I'll also add other purchase options through Craftsy and my blog by the end of the year.

Have a very Merry Merry Christmas!

now back to wrapping presents...

Easy as Pie! quilt pattern available now!

I introduced my new pattern Easy as Pie! a couple days ago and if you follow me on Instagram, you saw Easy As Pie! in progress.  :)

It is now available for purchase on Craftsy, Etsy and here at laugh yourself into Stitches.

Easy as pie to make...Can be made in a day!

Pattern includes 2 versions!

The scrappy Fat Quarter friendly option is shown above.  This pattern uses up almost the entire Fat Quarter!  Hardly any waste!!

I used Lori Holt's Sew Cherry line of fabric from 2011.  Sew Cherry is no longer available but Lori's new line 'Calico Days' is available this month and would be perfect!

You'll find it online from Bev at 44th Street Fabric or from Rhonda at Olie and Evie.

Modern Mini's by Lori Holt is another great choice! Available now!
Easy as Pie! calls for 13 Fat Quarters to make the entire quilt top...but...
**Hint Hint...
Both Calico Days and Modern Mini's FQ bundles include 24 Fat Quarters....if you purchase just one more FQ, you'll be able to make 2 entire quilt tops!!
Binding and backing fabrics are extra

The pattern shows exactly how to cut each Fat Quarter*** resulting in very little waste!

Here's the 2 fabric version made from 1-2/3 yards each of a light and dark fabric.
I used Debbie Mumm flannel from her line Artic Antics.

Staying snugly under these cute penguins, polar bears and arctic foxes!!  Cuuute!

Easy as Pie! is the perfect last minute gift!

Introducing Christmas Spice

Thanksgiving is almost here and officially (in my mind)
fall will come to an end.
No more decorating with pumpkins, crows, dried cornstalks and leaves.

Time to bring out the colors of Christmas.
Speaking of that...did you happen to buy my Pumpkin Spice quilt pattern?
 Jodi of Pleasant Home did!
Jodi calls her rendition, Christmas Spice.
Great modern colors...bright and cheerful...
a bit of sugar and spice if you ask me!

Turn your Pumpkin Spice quilt into
'Christmas Spice'!

Table Topper Rendition

of my Poppa's Tree Farm quilt pattern.
Made with Deb Strain's Christmas Countdown fabrics by Moda.
The tree trunks are also a Deb Strain fabric from a year or two ago...

Between getting customer quilts quilted for Christmas on my longarm...
standing, standing standing...i need to sit for a spell...so i stitch.
This table topper will have to get in line for machine quilting...but that's okay.
Measuring 33" square and made with only 4 trees.
Quick and easy gift...
or maybe a holiday treat  for yourself?

You'll find the pattern on
or can be mailed to you, (see my side bar)
