Alright...enough already!
I promise...this is the last post on this quilt  :)

I stitched a simple wave in the inner border and feathers in the outer.  I don't think the feathers really show much against the floral fabric.
oh well...
Love this Appliguide tool.
This tool by Deloa Jones offers great control, and I can stitch sooo close!

More of Mary's quilt finished. Earlier today I posted here whether I should or should not fill
in the  circles with a quilted texture.
I have decided to leave the inner circles
free of quilting.
I've stitched down both sides of the 'on point' squares creating a 'sashing'.  The distance is less than 2".  I felt it balanced the openness of the circle and decided to continue straight lines again in the setting triangles.

I also stitched around each large square in the alternate blocks in hopes to pop them out a bit.  Hard to tell when it's still on the frame.
Enough for today...i have three setting triangles to finish and the outer border.
Working on Mary's quilt today...I've stitched around the three layers of applique, now wondering if I should leave the inside of circle without any quilting or add a background texture?
