The 4th annual Blogger's festival begins today.
This quilt is a Joined at the Hip design i made years ago. i love appliqué...it's my favorite thing to do and i love how it looks when combined with pieced blocks.
Some quilts i make seem to sit for quite awhile before i finally finish them....
i don't think i ever put this quilt aside.
Very impressive, i love this:)
ReplyDeleteKaren: as always your quilt is beautiful. Applique is so time consuming and labor intensive...I check out several of the unique quilts at the on line quilt show. Very wonderful, like you, there are many talented people out there in quiltland! I did read and see a couple of good ideas for future quilting projects! Thanks for the link. :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! I'm with you on applique-- I just love it. Isn't it wonderful when you find one of those projects you just can't put down? :)
ReplyDeleteOh! This is just fabulous, from the colors to the contrast. I love pieced and applique blocks too. No wonder you loved every bit of working on it! Thanks for sharing your quilt's story :)
