I took almost a week off quilting this past week.
After a week on Mt. Hood i came home to a sewing room with too many projects laying out....stack of bills to be paid, dust, threads,...it all put me on pins and needles! So instead of jumping right in and clearing the decks...I became stifled. Eventually I thought "enough is enough" and spent two days organizing, dusting, vacuuming, etc....and finally I cleared the cobwebs from my head and began quilting this quilt for Karlene.
It's an older quilt started by her mother i believe and has been sitting idle in a closet. There must be so many of these quilts out there! When I was in Bend recently, I picked up two similar quilts with similar stories...longing to be finished up and displayed.
I mentioned in my last post about Jeannet's pincushion swap. You will find an icon on the left of my blog if you are interested. Deadline to sign up is this coming Sunday the 5th.
