Hi Everyone!
What's been buzzing around my head?
Bees!!!
Ha! I thought i would capture some pictures next to a set of active bee hives on my family farm...I am totally surprised i escaped without one sting!
I had to drop, run and scream more than a few times!
Here are photos of safer neighborhoods...
Hi Neighbor! hot pads are SEW darn cute!!!
And close ups of the different fabric combinations
Which one is your favorite Hi Neighbor! home?
Mine, hands down...is in the photo above... the slate colors with the blue teal door and cream bee surround. But those vibrate fabrics are fun too!!
Renee Nanneman of Need'l Love has put together a bundle of 13 Bee Hive fabric combinations to make many fun hot pads!
Or you could certainly turn your 13 Fat Quarters into a full quilt!
Hi Neighbor Quilt
Measuring 59" x 73"
In addition to the 13 FQ bundle, you will also need
Sashing 3/4 yards
Outer border 1-1/4 yard required
Binding 1/2 yard required
Backing 4 yards
Choose a fabric you have NOT used in the dirt/grass section of the house block for your sashing and inner border.
The sashing is ONLY vertical between rows of houses.
The dirt or grass section in the house block becomes the horizontal sashing.
Create your neighborhood!
