More Pie Birds!

Pie Birds are now available in hard copy!
If you'd like to receive a pattern in the mail, i can do that!

The Pie Bird Hot Pad pattern includes 2 versions of crows.  The crow shown on the pattern cover and the whimsical crow in the 'soon to be finished' pot holder.

Made completely from scraps!  Aren't these cute scraps?!!!  Love the dotted legs!  Lol

AnnMarie shared her Pie Bird runner on Instagram recently.  She added offset 16-patch blocks and straight line quilting!  Ahhh!!!

Follow AnnMarie @runandsew and me @laughyourselfintostitches on Instagram!

Gayle combined both crows separated with a sashing strip. She uses it as a festive hanging on her office door!  Great idea!!!!

Terre and Jean were busy on a quilt retreat making Pie Bird hot pads!  They both added an additional border.   I suspect those crows appreciate standing in that fresh grass!!  Nice!

What kind of Pie Bird project will you make?
A quick fall decoration for yourself or a nice gift for a friend?

Pie Bird Hot Pad pattern is available for instant download on Craftsy and Etsy or you can get an emailed or mailed pattern through my blog.   Click on My Patterns for option details.

Quilt Patterns now available through local shops

Good Morning from Oregon!
I'm excited to share with you that my patterns are now being sold in  a few local quilt shops!

Last month at the NW Quilting Expo was my big debut...thanks to Momma Made It quilt shop in Longview, Washington!

Isn't their booth fabulous!
They took my Redwing Black bird and Cinderella Pumpkin quilts to display in their booth and now sell both patterns in their shop.

Boersma's in McMinnville is also selling 3 of my quilt patterns and have 3 hanging in their store.

They have the black 'Cinderella Pumpkin' quilt

'And So it Crows' quilt

My 'Indian Summer' quilt

And are making their own sample of Poppa's Tree Farm quilt.
Can't wait to see it!

Lastly, I made a trip to Bend this week to visit my son Mason and give him a big hug.  I miss his hugs!

While in Bend, i thought i would drag along some quilts to show to a couple shop owners.  Sew Many Quilts instantly picked up and are displaying The brown version of Cinderella Pumpkins, Poppa's Tree Farm, Redwing Blackbird and this sample of Indian Summer made by my friend Cheryl...Isn't her's great?!!

FYI...There's a Central Oregon shop hop going on through tomorrow!

Sew Many Quilts will also carry my Stars for Every Season and Easy as Pie! quilt patterns very soon.
Stars for Every Season, perfect for Christmas!

Easy as Pie uses 13 Fat Quarters and goes together super quick!
 Great pattern for large prints!

BJ's Quilt Basket will also carry some of my patterns soon.  New owner and super nice.

My patterns have been well received by these local shops. What's most exciting to me is getting to know the owners and share our love of quilting!

One more piece of information...I'll be having a trunk show on November 9th at Aloha Sew and Vac!  I'll have my entire collection of quilts with me...so please come!!

Click on My Patterns to see them all!

If you'd like to see my patterns in your local quilt shops...please email me (chezstitches@gmail.com) their website or show them this blog post next time you're shopping!  :)

Great variation to my Redwing Blackbird pattern!

Diane did wonders putting these birds together in her own fashion!

She used a rich gold background (from the Andover Cloverdale House collection), vertical checkerboard to separate the rows of birds and added appliqued vines with leaves, berries and stars.

She's such an over achiever!!!  Lol

Diane pieced the left over redwing half square triangles together to create the final border.

Here's a look at my original....or visit my Redwing Blackbird blog post for more pictures.

Get a copy of the Redwing Blackbird pattern...see what you can do!
