Great block production! Sometimes just a change of venue can be so refreshing. My sister has a "gentleman's farm" in upstate Pennsylvania. When we go up in the spring, summer or fall, we always take our machines out to the enclosed backporch, set up an ironing board, a cutting mat and sew all day.
Hi Karen, I just cut out Class 9 blocks. I'm taking them with me on Monday to a quilting retreat to piece. I will be taking all my completed blocks to share with my friends - I like to see them drool.
I used to sew outside all the time when my kids were little. We had a pool and it was the best way to keep an eye on them. My BFF just bought a great little IKEA table for sewing and has it on her sunporch out back. She loves to sew there in the spring and fall and even winter once the sun warms things up a bit. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to stitch isn't it! Enjoy!!
Looks like fun! It rained here! Your colorway and fabrics are interesting. Are they reproduction? These little blocks go quickly with your methods! I have one more left for this month. I just got sidetracked. Class One was so easy...can't wait to start class two! XO
