i had the privilege of meeting and working with Sue at a local quilt shop. The shop, Mainstreet Cloth and Mercantile, was featured in the 2002 Quilt Sampler magazine.
Here we all are....Sue in the middle of the back row and 'yours truly' up front.
Sue is an amazing quilter...Here is her camp'n quilt ready for a starry night.
While working long hours on Sue's quilt, my good friend and neighbor Cece, in cahoots with my good quilty friend Lila... highjacked me friday night away from my studio...they saw my light on, called and forced me into a glass a wine and giggles. Lila opened up her latest quilt top to show us.....i can't wait to get me needle running through this one!
I could do with a glass of wine! I just talked on skype to my quilter friend in Thessaloniki. She was talking about tea which seems to help to lose weight.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt you just did. And the blue/white one looks amazing. Wonder how you are going to quilt this one.
Looks like you & Sue are great team! I love how your quilting design has created a secondary design. Look out beautiful blue n' white quilt, you are about to be transformed! You are lucky to get such beautiful well pieced quilts to work with.
