I have some quilty thoughts rummaging around in my head. I'm trying to gather them up, put them on a new site and share with you....and it has to do with The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt.
Block 1 Attic Windows
As these ideas are being gathered up in my mind....chewed on, slept on, dreamed about and shared with my family, very unexpected doors open. I have been offered to teach The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt beginning in October at a local shop. The shop owner has asked me to display my FW quilt (below) at the Northwest Quilt Expo this September in Portland. These two unexpected opportunities only fan my gathered quilty thoughts of enthusiasm and hopefully soon i can share.
In the meantime....get ready for Round Two!
Wonderful my bloggy friend!! Sounds like some fun times coming for you. Nice fabrics......but I have one question.....................................

I love the look of the first finished Farmers Wife Quilt. The colours you picked for the 2nd one are very sophisticated! When i finish my first one i will start another one too. But then in the loud and proud colours so to speak. I will most definately track your progress on this one and cant wait to see the first one quilted!
ReplyDeleteKaren, you are one brave lady, I did start my FWQ but didn't like my fabric choices, so I will start again one day, but I am curious as to what method you use?
