Well, here is my Easter Egg quilt.... not ironed and with no binding...but for photo purposes, it is what it is!! It was fun quilting each block and trying to come up with something unique each time....which I did not do! I have a few repeated designs, but many are different as you will see below.
I call this one "hollypot"....for those familiar with Holly's art....
So far this week I've quilted MY quilt, finished two small baby quilts for my cousin Kora....due first part of May, loaded and half way through a large quilt with hopes of completing today.
I have been asked to finish a very interesting Sunbonnet Sue quilt for Lynn. Each block was made by different members of an Indian tribe specifically for her years ago. A while back, Lynn asked another quilter to sash around each block which was done in bright turquoise with much wider sashing than I would have chosen. My challenge is to find border fabric to pull this quilt together, machine quilt and bind. That is my next big project and if time allows, I'd like get the binding on my Easter Egg quilt....I will post pictures Monday of my progress.
You are acquiring some mad skills! Wow!
