ReplyDelete"Oh, the barnyard is busy in a regular tizzy,
And the obvious reason is because of the season
Ma Nature's lyrical, with her yearly miracle
Spring, Spring, Spring.
Nothing makes me smile like a blossoming tree and a brand new lamb sticking it's nose under Mama.
That would be so cool in 30's repros with white and another color to set it off! And I am so in need of a summer quilt! Fun! Laura V.
ReplyDeleteTough choice, but I would have to pick spring!
ReplyDeleteSpring is my favorite, it is such a joy to see the Crocuses, the first flowers, followed by the Tulips, just so happy.

ReplyDeleteI just love summer! Where I live it is way too short though. Your tulips are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe question: What's your favorite season? Spring or Summer?
ReplyDeleteMy answer: Spring! I love the awakening of the earth from winter's slumber. The crispness of the air with a building hint of warmer temperatures to come. Summer here is hot, hot, hot. I don't deal well with high temperatures, so I tend to hide in places with air conditioning. But in the Spring, I can be outside enjoying the beautiful weather!
Oh it has to be late spring. So much lovely colour all around, before the summer sun takes most of it away.
ReplyDeleteI prefer spring to summer even though it is often rainy.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen I love your design! My favorite season is spring. I love the promise that plants give us that the statk and barren cold of winter is over and summer is around the corner. I love how every flower has it's own scent - some heavy but some so light and delicate that it takes concentration and effort to track the scent. I live in an area where winter is just not long enough and tulips are difficult to get a really good show. I find myself looking at more photos to satisfy my love of these beautiful blooms. I love patchwork quilts because they kind of fall into the same category of fulfillment to me - I could spend my entire day looking at quilts and would go to bed with a smile of satisfaction at night if I could snuggle under this quilt. I dont know jow to subscribe yo this blog but I will figure it out ☺ Lori Mackie
ReplyDeleteI like Spring better, since everything is starting to turn green, after a long winter full of browns and white. Thanks for the chance. It's a nice quilt.
