Win a Free Pattern! Help me come up with a name for these....???

I recently share some photos onto Instagram showing these 'swirly whatcha ma call 'ems'.  I tend to use them in feathery background fills.
No two are ever alike.

This one looks like a small flower...

The one above and below look more like coneflowers... kinda lol

Not really sure what this one is all about, but i really like it!

I love the center swirl in this one, but they can get overwhelming if i use too many.

 Another fanning coneflower...

I tuck them in here and there...sometimes i don't have a lot of space around the feather fill and end up with stumpy ones, ones with missing feathers, a half of one, one with long and squaty feathers....

But i love everone of them!!!

They are all so random, i can't come up with a name!
Can you??

Leave your 'name idea' in the comment section.  The quilter who comes up with the perfect name will win a copy of my new Star Spangled Picnic Quilt PDF pattern, available soon!

Share away!  You can post as many suggestions as you like too!
I will choose the winning name for these 'swirly whatcha ma call 'ems' on Sunday June 24th!

  1. I have always called them 'Feather Swirls" when I quilt them! Not too creative of a name but my clients understand what I'm going to quilt on their quilt if I call then that! LOL!

  13. They remind me of a dog shaking off water, or my lawn sprinkler, but neither of those seem to be the types of names you would probably pick, so how about Splashing Swirls
