Warming up my Tractor!

Literally warming...
I'm honored to be invited to speak to the Sew~ciety Quilt Guild this coming Monday at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Rochester, Minnesota.     Brrrr!!

My lecture is called 'Precision Piecing the Farmer's Wife Way'. Based upon my Farmer's Wife classes, i'll be sharing tips and techniques used to create these 6-1/2" blocks.

Some of those blocks have sewwww many pieces~like this one that Farm Wife Janet Evans made.
This is block #38, called Four Winds from Class 4 has 48 separate fabric pieces!!!!
Looks complicated, but when you break it down using modern methods, it's not that bad.  Seriously!  Beautiful block Janet!

I have a Farmer's Wife Facebook page you are welcome to join even if you're not farming...there are lots of free pdf tutorials available for all!  And you'll see more of Janet's great quilt blocks plus blocks and finished quilts from other farmers too!

Here's a look at all the blocks made from Class 4 in my nifty collage.

Sewwww...if you're in the Rochester, Minneapolis area on Monday the 9th, i'll be giving 2 lectures.  1:00pm and 7:00pm  Link to the church location is highlighted at the beginning of this post.
I'll have quilts from my own pattern line to show and patterns available for purchase too.
Hope to see you there!!
