Poppa's Tree Farm table runner

Just received this picture from my friend Cheryl...

I absolutely LOVE the different fabrics used for the trees!  Marvelous!!  Cheryl opted not to create the pinwheels around the outside...

it can be a bit wide for a standard table.

 (tree blocks measure 12" finished)

I thought a striped red and white bias binding would look great...Can't wait to see it finished Cheryl...whatever binding you use!  

This quilt is quite versatile.  Rotate the trees in any direction, complete the pinwheels around the outside making it a great size for a hall table topper or kitchen island...or how about hanging it on your front door?

Without the pinwheels, well...you see it...looks great too!
